The Mid-Region Council of Governments/ Rio Metro Regional Transit District is accepting resumes for the position of Administrative Assistant/ Customer Service representative.
Candidates must have knowledge of administrative procedures and operation of standard office equipment. Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, e-mail, and internet. Ability to understand bus and train service schedules and clearly articulate instructions and directions. Knowledge of train and bus operations preferred.
Duties for the Front Desk include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and allowing access to visitors/ employees
- Answering phones and directing calls to staff
- Scheduling meetings
- Sorting mail and accepting packages
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications include High School diploma or GED, three years of general office experience, and one year customer service experience. Bilingual preferred.
