Vision/Details: We are offering a paid position to work on our farm. We are seeking a couple with farming experience that has interest in all aspects of operating a pastured poultry business with the opportunity for profit sharing or ownership. 

Land-Use History: For the past 17 years we have rotational grazed our fields with poultry and have included vegetables at times.

Soil & Water: As we are located along the Rio Grande the soil is a clay/loamy clay and has been enhanced by 17 years of pasturing poultry increasing the organic matter to 7-8%. We are in the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District and have laser leveled fields with cement ditches.

Desired Farming Practices: Minimum tillage, no-till, sustainable, organic, rotational grazing, integrated pest management, bio-intensive, and/or permaculture.

Housing: Housing is available.

Acreage: 21-50 acres.

Equipment: We have brooders, incubators/hatchers, portable shelters, tractors, field preparation implements, feed grinders, feed bins, sprout building, licensed processing facility, walk-in cooler and freezer and refrigeration trucks.
