The Agribusiness Collaborative has launched a new blog that will focus on issues surrounding local food, growers, farmers, and products of New Mexico's middle region. 

The purpose of this blog is to broaden and extend the community of people interested in local foods, including those for whom the collaborative meetings are not convenient. It also is intended to serve as a resource for state and local growers, sellers and consumers, including technical advice for growers, information for restaurants about what is currently available from local growers, and guidance for consumers about where they can buy local food or enjoy a restaurant meal that includes local food.  You can read the blog here, and headlines are also available on the MRCOG home page.

We've also launched new subscription options that allow visitors to receive both MRCOG News and the Ag Blog via an RSS feed (what is this?) or by email.  This makes it easier for visitors to stay in touch with the important issues in our region, without having to remember to visit the site regularly.  Consider signing up today for the email subscription.  You only receive an email if a news item or Ag Blog item is published.  The email you receive (if an item is posted) will arrive in your email after 7pm.  Subscription options are available in the lower right hand corner of any page on the website.
