Lloyd Krietzer was a featured grower on our blog in April.
We are currently looking for farmers, growers, value added producers, and anyone else involved in locally grown foods to be featured in an article right here on our Local Food Blog. We call it the "Meet the Farmer" (or grower/producer/etc) profiles, and it's a great way to get the word out about your farm or local food related business.
We would like to feature on our blog:
- Farmers and crop producers
- Ranchers or livestock producers
- Value added producers (jams, salsas, etc) that feature or use at least some locally grown ingredients)
- Chefs/caterers that cook with locally grown ingredients (when seasonally available)
- Businesses or organizations that promote the growing of local foods, such as a raised garden bed company, a composting business, or a community garden group/organization, etc.
If you don't fit into any of the above categories, please contact us to find out if your business of organization qualifies to be featured.
There are two easy ways to be featured:
- Too busy for a personal interview? No problem. Just contact us and we will email you a list of questions that you can choose to answer. Then email us your responses with along with a few photos, and your profile will be featured on our blog in no time.
- Depending on our schedule—as well as your proximity to Albuquerque—we can also come out to your establishment for a personal interview. We will still send you some questions to answer before hand, but we will also come out to chat, ask a few more questions, and take some pictures.
These profiles are just another way in which the Agriculture Collaborative is trying to increase awareness of our local food system and resources.
