2005 Demographics

The following demographic data for 2005 comes from the 2005 American Community Survey (ACS) performed by the US Bureau of the Census. The ACS has a smaller sample size than the decennial census, which allows for annual data releases. Due to size limitations, data are currently available only for the 3 counties of Bernalillo, Sandoval and Valencia. The 2005 figures below represent those 3 counties only. Data pertaining to Torrance County and smaller populations will be released over the next several years. The 2005 ACS does contain data for persons living in group quarters.
