Jemez Springs Comprehensive Plan
The Jemez Springs Comprehensive Plan Update was adopted by the Village Council on August 12, 2015.
Updated every five years, the Comprehensive Plan is a policy guide for making future decisions about the physical development and overall improvement of the Village of Jemez Springs. The plan indicates how the local residents and their elected officials want their community to evolve in the next 20 years and beyond.

- There will not be any more steering committee meetings. The next council meeting is set for July 8th at 6pm for adoption of the Plan.
- The implementation strategies were adopted by resolution on May 13.
- MRCOG and Steering Committee Members developed and presented draft goals and objectives to the Village Trustees on March 11, 2015. This final draft was adopted at the Trustee meeting on April 22, 2015.
- MRCOG and Steering committee members are currently working on the development of implementation strategies. These strategies are statements of specific actions that should be taken, identifying the responsible party or parties, the time frame within which that action should occur, and details considered necessary to prepare for implementation. Each of these strategies specifically references each goal and objective that is ultimately impacted.
Jemez Springs Community Survey
The Village of Jemez Springs developed a survey with the Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG) to update the 2007 Comprehensive Plan to guide future development in the community and address current and foreseeable challenges the Village is facing. The survey closed February 6th and the draft results are now available for download.
