Population: 94 (2000) Area: 2.0 Square Miles (2000)

Encino is located at the intersection of U.S. 60 and U.S. 285 in the ranching country of New Mexico's eastern plains. An east-west line of the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway passes through the community. In addition to ranching, there is also a rock quarry 8 miles west of the Village.
