"Think you know the difference between real New Mexican cuisine and lame imitations? Award-winning cookbook authors Cheryl and Bill Jamison want you to spill the frijoles, so to speak. In 2012, the Jamisons plan on publishing Tasting New Mexico: 100 years of New Mexico Cooking (Museum of New Mexico Press), a collection of recipes that celebrates New Mexico's diverse culinary landscape. Besides dishes, anecdotes, and a little food trivia, there will be a section on the history of ranching and farming in the state. If you're a New Mexico resident and think you have something interesting (stories, recipies, etc.) to contribute to the book project, send it to tastingnm@gmail.com by Nov. 1 at the latest."
