The MRCOG Agriculture Collaborative is seeking a part-time, unpaid intern to help with general duties. The position will require approximately 5-10 hours per week, depending on workload. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Monthly newsletter – Assist with monthly newsletter development, which may include content development, writing articles or using the online system to build the newsletter.
• Calendar – Help to maintain and update Google calendar with local and regional events.
• Monthly meetings – Assist with organization and set-up of monthly Ag Collaborative meetings that occur on the second Wednesday of each month.
• Blog – Assist with article development for the Local Food Blog.
• Data Analysis – Assist with data analysis resulting from a recent survey. Analysis might include coding of survey results.
• Outreach – Assist with phone calls and emails. Attend partner organization meetings when possible.
• LandLink - Assist with the LandLink program, which may include website data entry of submissions, calling program participants, and related duties.
• Local Food Festival – Assist with the organization and planning of the Local Food Festival later on in the year.
• Social media – Assist with social media management including Facebook, Twitter and Duke City Fix. Sourcing and sharing relevant articles, events or opportunities, and posting on this information on all social media outlets.
