| Need Funds for a Community Garden Project? |

If you're looking for funds to get a community garden up and running, you may wnat to look in to the Bernalillo County Neighborhood Outreach Grant Program. Some of the projects that were funded in 2010 include: Community Greenhouse/Garden Uniting, Preventing Graffiti Through Planting and Community Health Assesment/Education. From the website: Neighborhood Associations will have 30 days to submit a proposal. The deadline is April 13, 2011 at 4:00p.m. A non-mandatory informational meeting will be held on March 16, 2011 at 1:00p.m. in the Vincent E. Griego Council Chambers, Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Government Center, located at One Civic Plaza N.W., Basement Level, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
