Revolutionary Acts: Growing Gardens in Schools and Rethinking School Lunches Print E-mail
On 5/28, Carol Boss, host of Women's Focus on KUNM, presented another segment in the ongoing series Revolutionary Soup, which features "wide-ranging conversations about our evolving relationship with food and our environment." Our own Lora Roberts, along with four other leaders in the school food and local food movement (Janet Page-Reeves, Lisa Silva and Nissa Patterson), spoke about school food issues, school gardens and the work being done to improve these conditions.

If you'd like to take a listen you can do so (for two weeks only) via the KUNM archives: CLICK HERE - Please note the following:
* Select the drop option for Sat. May 28th, and then select 1:00pm.
* You cannot forward or rewind the recording, so you'll have to listen to a couple songs and a few announcements before the segment starts. The program runs for about an hour.
