Help spread the word that Old School’s late summer and autumn classes are open for registration. Make sure to sign up soon, as we expect them to fill quickly!!

We’ve added a dozen new classes in addition to offering most of last term’s classes -- including triple the number of canning, chicken- and bee-keeping classes.

We might even add classes in upholstery, mustard- and ketchup-making, goat-keeping and dumpster diving. Experts in these topics and any other functional skill should contact us right away!

As Old School evolves into a quirky yet uber-functional umbrella for Albuquerque’s do-it-yourself community, we seek to connect students with experts in all sorts of frugal, sustainable and traditional living skills. We offer low-cost classes AND free, safe childcare. Teacher’s are compensated, and our choice charity, Water for People, receives 10 percent of our profit. In order to keep Old School afloat, we need full classes of paying students. Students can pay online for classes or arrange alternate payment options with us.
