Join the National Young Farmers' Coalition on Sunday, Oct. 2 in Santa Fe, New Mexico for a FREE New Agrarian Farm Tour & Mixer!!

Meet at the Santa Fe Farmers Market Pavilion at 7am (sharp), and then carpool to Toas, NM to tour the Taos County Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC) facility with a special Mobile Matanza demonstration (goat processing); explore Sol Feliz Farm with Miguel Santestevan, featuring Native American and Hispanic traditional dryland farming techniques, seed saving and acequia expertise; and visit Freshie's Farm, with discussion on how one farm is responding to Mother Nature's challenges in 2011. Our target audience for this tour is new and beginning farmers in the area, and we hope that this is first in a series of events that serve to build a vibrant network of new agrarians in northern New Mexico.
