Bernalillo County has issued RFP #13-12-AM to find a resident caretaker for an 875 s.f. one-bedroom house located on the grounds of the Bachechi Open Space (9521 Rio Grande NW) in the far North Valley of Albuquerque.  This property is opening to the public in October 2011 and the residential unit is nearly finished being constructed. Assistance with educational programming and public events and some maintenance at this site are a few of the tasks that the Open Space program is seeking from interested individuals.  Since RFP #13-12-AM is a formal solicitation for proposals, there are procurement rules to follow to obtain a copy of the RFP that are explained in the attached Letter of Interest that has been issued by the Bernalillo County Purchasing Department.  Please review these carefully and consider attending the non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting on October 6 and the non-mandatory site visit on October 14.  Proposals are due October 28, 2011.  This arrangement could be a synergistic, mutually beneficial arrangement for Bernalillo County and the right individual.
