Youth Garden Grants Program

The National Gardening Association and Home Depot are partnering to award grants to schools and community organizations with child-centered garden programs. Priority to receive grants will be given to programs that emphasize at least one of the following elements: an educational focus or curricular integration, nutrition or plant-to-food connections, environmental education, entrepreneurship, social aspects of gardening such as leadership development, team building, community support, or service-learning. U.S. schools, youth groups, community centers, camps, clubs, treatment facilities, and intergenerational groups with programs that include at least 15 children between the ages of 3 and 18 years are eligible.
