We are happy to announce the launch of the redesigned Mid-Region Council of Governments website! Our primary goal during the redesign process was simplifying our homepage content and increasing the visibility of our programs for a more client-centric layout. We welcome visitors with featured content in the "Latest News" and "How Can We Help" sections. Find programs and program highlights in the new homepage "Popular Links" section, and get to your webpage in one or two clicks.
The color palette now matches closer to the MRCOG logo, representing our joint efforts and bold approach in continuing to provide a forum for groups and individuals on a range of critical regional issues that empower our communities of all sizes.
The MRCOG website doesn't just have a brand new look, we're also adding enhanced accessibility features that makes navigating easier, and fulfills our continued commitment to accessibility and inclusion. The updated Google translate component can now be accessed from any webpage, at any time. Coming soon you will see a new accessibility tool called AudioEye. AudioEye monitors web accessibility compliance in accordance with ADA-related digital accessibility standards and guidelines. It adjusts digital experiences for end-users leveraging their own assistive technology, and helps people with disabilities to access our content.
I encourage you to explore the new mrcog-nm.gov. Your feedback is very important to us as we strive to develop a website that is accessible, easy to use, and provides value to our programs and visitors. Please submit any questions, comments, suggestions, concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org.
