SBDCs—The 19 Small Business Development Centers across the state can help small businesses and individuals with free business consulting covering topics like accounting, payroll, sources of capital, financial analyses, etc.  There are three SBDCs in the MRCOG region and center staff are available to answer questions and provide counseling services over the phone, via Skype, or through email exchanges.

Albuquerque Bernalillo County Trade Alliance—scaling for international sales; import/export consultation; market research; and assistance with applications to Foreign Trade Zone 110 lowering a company’s tax burden.

NM Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP)—This partnership can help businesses address efficiency, process improvement, waste, international certifications, and global supply chains.

NMSBA—This partnership with Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories helps small businesses in New Mexico (for profit businesses with fewer than 500 employees) overcome technical challenges in the form of research hours.  This free service provides $20,000 of research service to businesses in a rural area and $10,000 if located in Bernalillo County.

Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce—monthly procurement workshops, import/export training, access to SCORE services and other business resources for members.
