(Albuquerque, NM –April 1, 2024) – The Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico launched a new Business Services Connector online portal specifically designed to help employers in the central region find new employees and train existing ones.
“This Business Services Connector can connect employers to any number of workforce services we offer”, said Art Martinez, WCCNM Administrator. “Whether it’s staff training and recruitment support… or assisting with job listings and hiring events – all an employer has to do is create an online account, and they can access all of the services right at their fingertips at no cost to them.”
Once an employer creates an online account, they can submit requests to find new employees or choose the option of training existing ones - or both. From there, they will be matched with a Workforce Connection Business Consultant within two business days.
“Employers often don’t have the time to stop and look for qualified workers – or even take time out of their busy schedules to get training for existing ones – or even explore what services are available”, said John Mierzwa, Workforce of Central New Mexico Board Chair. “The Business Services Connector will provide them with an experienced consultant who can help navigate the right path for them – and help them access the right services for their business.”
